My name is Lesley Brown, I was introduced to cross stitch over ten years ago by my sister, and I am addicted now, make no mistake! I have stitched all sorts of designs, mostly those depicting nature, but have sewn some cute type ones too, oh! and twenties style type for my Mum.
I love to sew detailed designs, but often find they are
not exactly what I want. This website
has come about from this desire to
stitch more flowers and scenes from
Greece.
Charts
Most of the photos used for the Grecian charts are ones that myself or my husband have taken in Crete. We holiday there every year, where the children can run free, walk the streets safely at night, eat the most fresh, fabulous food and drink in the wonderful scenery.

I also like to take my projects with me to the beach, thus the idea for protecting the chart more effectively!
Greece
The people of Greece are very friendly and very laid back! Most are very giving, sharing the bounty of their harvest with others.
One day,we were left some aubergines by
our front food These beautiful fruits were so fresh, we brought them home in hand luggage, then made a fabulous
Moussaka.
When we are in Crete, I enjoy sitting and stitching with Maria from the kafenion, whilst she applies herself to filet crochet
on tablecloths between customers. As a thank you to my daughter for a small gift, Maria presented her with a lovely hand embroidered tray cloth for her bottom drawer. Such fine work to give to a child.
